The leg shield or knee plate is made of robust 1.0 mm sheet metal, which offers the necessary strength and durability to protect the rider from dirt, wind and water. Realize a restoration or repair with our new part, no sandblasting or time-consuming straightening! With its unpainted surface, it also offers the opportunity to customize and adapt it to your Simson Schwalbe.
Until now, this coveted part was hard to find and often only available as a refurbish. Now it is available again as a new item from Schmitt! The very accurately fitting body part is handcrafted and is NOT made in China!
The leg shield may have sharp edges or burrs due to production. These should be removed by the customer in the course of paint preparation.
The three holes for attaching the Schwalbe lettering have been omitted here as riveting would cause damage to the paintwork and the knee plate would start to rust. We recommend gluing the emblem with body adhesive.
