Yasuni FULL THROTTLE since 1977!

1977 As result of his many years of experience as race driver Joan Prims incorporated KIT YASUNI. His technical know how he gained during his time in the racedepartment of legendary motorcycle manufacturer Montesa and his teamwork with Paco Tombas. Kit Yasuni started out in a little garage 35km from Barcelona. The production is taking place manually with limited quantities due to the very high quality during the entire more than 35 year long company history.

1986 Yasuni becomes the first brand launch an exhaust system for this market with its innovative "Buffanda scarf" model.

1989 Addition of the first test bench. The entire researchdepartment changes over to EDV in order to carry out projecvts with short launch deadlines.

1990 Automatization of the weld plant. Entry in the race world and winning the first GP.

1995 Commencement of a new company ground with an extension of 700m² to 3000m². Origination of new departments and relocation of the headquarter to Canovelles near Granollers.

1997 Introduction of new exhaust models (inkluding the manually produced "hand made") as a result of the continuoous efforts of our technic department and the expansion of the brnad to the european market.

2000 For the first time Yasuni received approval for different exhaust types by the Spanish industry ministry in form of the community type approval.

2003-2005 Big technological jump of the company with implementation of a laser cut machine and a diversity of automatic weld machines. Currently there are about 95% of weld works done by weld robots at Yasuni.

2006 First trial and approval of exhausts for 4 stroke engines.

2008 Implementation of press brakes, thermoforming-, cutting- and finishing machines for special material as stainless steel and titanium.

2009 - 2011 New distribution landscape in Europe by assigning a country-region YASUNI distributor to work locally with a lens directed to client users. Launch the 4T exhausted model to the market with remarkable success. The manifold exhaust made by cones creates a milestone in our direct competitors that follows our idea in their new scooter line.

2012 A new 4T exhaust system solution is developed to be the benchmark in the scooter market segment 125cc - 300cc in the balance quality vs. price.
